Don’t let the size fool you—this little trailblazer packs serious charm. With deep green, rounded leaves dusted in silver flecks, the Hoya Chouke brings understated glam to any shelf, sill, or hanging pot. She’s a rare hybrid—born of Hoya Carnosa and Hoya Serpens—and often called the “fraternal twin” of the Hoya Mathilde (but she’s got her own thing going on, trust).
When the mood strikes, she throws a full-on floral party: star-shaped, fuzzy white blooms with bright orange centers that look like tiny firework clusters. Oh, and they’re fragrant—because of course they are.
She may be soft-spoken, but she shows up every time.
Care Tips
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light. Too much sun will fade her sparkle, too little will slow the flowers.
💧 Water: Let the soil dry out between waterings. Hoyas like to sip, not chug.
🌡️ Temp & Humidity: Loves warmth and medium to high humidity. Keep her cozy.
🧽 Soil: Well-draining mix—think chunky and airy (orchid bark, perlite, coco coir).
🪴 Pro Tip: She blooms best when slightly rootbound and left in peace—resist the urge to over-fuss.
